Solid ethics: a commitment to confidentiality ADER considers itself bound by professional secrecy. Unless expressly authorised to do so, it undertakes for itself and its staff not to disclose any information to third parties either directly or indirectly, whether about contracts that have been executed, or about the nature and results of research that it may become aware of during its administrative and financial management of research contracts on behalf of Laboratories and Universities. Unless otherwise stated in specific agreements, this undertaking will outlast the end of any contracts, for as long as the items covered by professional secrecy have not been disclosed by all interested parties or after a mutual agreement in writing. The ADER charter 1 - ADER is a not-for-profit association bridging the gap between the business world and Research and Education Organisations. It exists to promote the development of partnerships in the area of research, training through applied research, professional development, and any other related activity, among research and education organisations (Grandes Ecoles, Universities, professional development departments in universities, etc.) and the key players in the business world. Both the universities and the business sphere must be represented at the heart of ADER. 2 The local ADER branch must enter into agreements with the Research and Education Organisations with which it works. Each contractual agreement defines the nature and extent of the responsibilities of each partner in its own recognised area of expertise. 3 The aim of ADERs work is to: Do everything possible to encourage the development of partnerships between Research or Education Organisations and Businesses or other public or private Clients. Each local ADER branch must be up to date with tax, social security or other specific obligations entailed in its work. 4 Whatever its activities are, each ADER branch must have full financial autonomy. Under normal conditions, an ADER branch may only receive grants to cover its outgoings. 5 In all cases, and regardless of their different ways of working: - ADER branches must define their undertakings in pursuit of their goal by means of contracts, within the scope of the agreements drawn up with the Research and Education Organisations. Any project in which an ADER branch takes part must be scientific in nature or lead to the promotion or development of research and innovation. 6 All ADER branches must be audited by a registered Statutory Auditor. |
